Headline:

Outbreaks of rain in many northern and western areas tonight.

This Evening and Tonight:

Central, northern and eastern England, remaining dry with clear spells in places. Rain, some heavy, will spread into southwestern England and later also southern Wales and central southern England. Further rain at times across parts of Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Saturday:

Early rain across parts of England and Wales, although this tending to fragment leaving sunshine and scattered heavy showers across much of the United Kingdom. Very windy in the southwest.
